Chinese Bridge Speech Competition

The Chinese Bridge Speech Competition is full of the colour of China's vibrant culture, featuring speech, music, song and drama.

The Secondary and Intermediate Chinese Speech Competition 2017 for the Auckland Region will be held on Saturday 13 May.

The Tertiary Hanyuqiao Chinese Speech Competition 2017 for the Auckland region will be held on the same day, Saturday 13 May.

Entrants compete in the Intermediate (Years 7-10), Secondary (Years 11-13) or Tertiary categories.

Winners of the tertiary and secondary categories are funded to represent New Zealand in the glamorous, televised world finals in China.

Intermediate and Secondary Categories:

The Intermediate and Secondary Categories are open to students of Chinese language who are currently studying at any New Zealand school.

Students at all levels of ability are encouraged to participate.
