Chinese Cultural Day

More than 120 children from West Auckland learned to make spring rolls, tried Chinese brush painting and calligraphy and dined on Chinese food as part of their Confucius Classroom “Chinese Cultural Day” yesterday at Holy Cross Primary School.

Confucius Institute Supports Language Conference

Language teachers from all over New Zealand, and as far as Finland, gathered in Rotorua from 1-4 July to attend the New Zealand Association of Language Teachers’ (NZALT) biennial conference. The Confucius Institute in Auckland helped support the conference.
