DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nLearn Chinese Mandarin for beginners, a language spoken by over one billion people!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Confucius Institute in Auckland is offering a structured series of Mandarin language courses in 2021. Each course runs for ten weeks, with 1.5-hour evening classes held once a week, instructed by experienced teachers from the Confucius Institute.\nAbout the Course\n\nParticipants should know at least 600 Chinese words and beyond basic grammar patterns.\nThis course is designed to help participants refine their presentation skills, to help make a smooth transition between colloquial Chinese and written Chinese. Discussion, debate, and presentation are important components of this course.\nThere are 3 levels to this course:\n\nLevel 4A\nLevel 4B\nLevel 4C\n\nThe aim is to pass the HSK-4 exam (optional).\n \nOn completion of this course participants will be able to:\nParticipants who pass the exam at this level can converse in Chinese on a wide range of topics and are able to communicate fluently with native Chinese speakers.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
