In the year 2017, 48 Mandarin Language Assistants came from China, and scattered all over the country, in Auckland, Waikato, and Northland, and one down in the South Island at the University of Otago. CI Auckland had a farewell ceremony for them on 24th November. Most of them returned to China in December after they finished their teaching of the last term.
