Chinese language courses are back in the classroom this year. Enrol now for face-to-face Mandarin language courses delivered by our experienced teachers. Each course runs for six weeks, with weekly 1.5-hour evening classes.

1. Overview

As in the past years, Confucius Institute in Auckland (CI) is a host of the competition in the Big Auckland region (from Northland to Waikato). The 2026 Regional Proficiency Competition is composed of four categories: Primary Student Category, Secondary Junior Student Category, Secondary Senior Student Category, and Tertiary Student Category. CI greatly appreciates primary and secondary schools as well as tertiary institutions of the above Region to promote this annual big event on campus and encourage their students to proactively participate. We believe that the Competition will provide your students a platform to demonstrate their Chinese language proficiency, to enhance their ability of utilising the Chinese language and to develop their understanding of Chinese language and culture.

• Fly high with Chinese 追梦中文 (secondary junior and senior category)

• One World, One Family 天下一家 (tertiary category)
