Auckland's first HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) in 2019 was successfully held on April 14, with a total of 127 participants sitting one of HSK’s six exam levels.
On 22 March, a special award presentation was held at Meadowbank School to honour the two hundred students who took part in the YCT (Youth Chinese Test) last November. All of them passed with fantastic results. Twelve high achievers received their awards and YCT certificates in the assembly.

The recent Youth Chinese Test (YCT) was held in November with 296 candidates – the largest number to date for any exams managed by the Confucius Institute in Auckland.
Guests gathered at Pembridge House on 6 November and witnessed another milestone of the Confucius Institute in Auckland, the official launch of the Model Confucius Institute and its new premises.
